When asked how did Benedict College or the Career Services department influence your life? Mr. Simons noted, “Benedict College gave me an opportunity to grow and mature as a young man. It gave me a sense of belonging and a hope for a brighter future as well as a sense of ownership by allowing me to take responsibility for my destiny and helping me understand how to thrive in society.” Mr. Simons’ advice to currently enrolled students is “Finish what you start, get your degree, ask for help if you’re having challenges but don’t give up on your future! Keep going.
